People from all walks of life are feeling a sense of urgency to prepare for some form of a doomsday type event that is bound to happen sooner or later. Whether it will be a catastrophic natural disaster, an economic crisis caused by hyperinflation, or some other kind of major event, one thing is certain, those who are prepared will have a much better chance of weathering the storm than those who do not take the time to prepare.
So you spent time and money putting together a stockpile to last you weeks, maybe even months. You chose the foods with the longest shelf life, you made sure you only got things your family enjoys and you cached them in various places around the house, maybe even at your bug out location.
There’s no argument that prepping can be costly.
There’s food storage, weapons, ammunition, bug out supplies, emergency supplies for the home, fuel for cooking and heating, medical supplies, various training and so much more. The costs can become so high that it prevents people new to prepping from even starting because they think they will never reach a state of being prepared.
