Ever since the semi-automatic pistol was invented, there has been a considerable degree of controversy over whether these guns or revolvers are better. Each of these handguns has advantages and disadvantages.
One of the most discussed topics that I’ve seen over the years is related to starting fires. While some people go as far as learning the bow drill method so they can start one under any circumstances, others say they’re going to use a simple lighter to achieve the same result. It’s pretty funny whenever I see such replies on the survivalist boards.
With all the terrible things bad people are doing in city precincts, shopping centres, cinemas etc. I began thinking how would I prepare for an emergency if I didn’t want to ‘technically’ prep? I don’t want to purchase all these gadgets and gizmos. I don’t need a fire starter, fish hooks, or compass in the city. What’s the point?
Recently I had a gentleman over at SkyTech Lasers contact me about doing a review on the blog for one of his portable high-powered lasers.
At first I wasn’t quite sure I wanted to do the review because I didn’t initially see how, in my mind, “an overpowered laser pointer” would apply in a survival situation.
I am not going to say that I am by any means an expert on this subject. This video is a follow up to the previous blog post on 18 Bug-Out Uses for a Trash Bag.
When it comes to your bug-out bag — given the limits you have in terms of space and weight — the best survival items you can pack are those that are lightweight, have multiple uses, and don’t take up much space.
If you were in a SHTF situation, which one would you rather have – a bow or a firearm? Before you gun nuts (me included) start saying there is no contest, I thought I’d use this article to maybe not so much change your mind but to expand your understanding of the capabilities and advantages of […]
Have you ever wished that you could get your hands on an invisibility cloak like what’s used in JKK Rowling’s Harry Potter series? Imagine the cool things you could do with that?
Well, we might not be able to have an invisibility cloak but there is a relatively new product on the market today that can very well mimic this sort of effect with surprisingly good results.
